3D historical reconstruction of the Rector's Palace in Dubrovnik
In this project our task was to create a reconstruction of the Rector's Palace in Dubrovnik in a certain period (from the 13th to the 17th century). We made 3D models according to historical data for each phase of development of the Rector's Palace, set the series of 3D models according to the chronology of creation as a preparation for animation and made basic animation for model correction. It was the central project of the Dubrovnik Museums in 2016, dedicated to the Rector's Palace, the most important public building in Dubrovnik and the seat of political power of the Republic of Dubrovnik, on the occasion of the 580th anniversary of the beginning of its construction. This is the first comprehensive exhibition dedicated to the most famous monument of administrative architecture on the entire eastern Adriatic coast, which for centuries was the central palace of power of the small and self-confident Dubrovnik state.
